This week was a tougher week with the strong south winds - 15 keeper fluke to 23 inches and some blues.
I had return client Ralph Rodio crew boxing 3 keepers to 22 inches and a lone bluefish in the shallows. They released close to 25 shorts.
Next, I had new client Bill Figley who worked a great career building NJ's reef sites (hats off to him). Bill, his wife and family friends worked hard to box 5 keepers to 23 inches. They released close to 28 fluke.
I had Guy Critelli, his nephew and friend on a 4hr fluke charter. The guys had to pick through close to 25 shorts, while boxing 4 keepers to 20 inches.
Heavy, heavy 20-22knot south winds for return client Bob "Magic drift" Dodds and crew who worked hard for 4hrs on bay fluke. We had super challenging conditions and the guys picked through 35 shorts to box one 20" keeper on the last drift by Bob.
I ended the week with new clients Chris Hudson, Sean H, Ian H, and Ray McDonald on a 4hr trip. First, thank you for Ray's service as a Vietnam veteran. The guys battled stiff south winds to work through 20 fluke and box 2 keepers to 19.5 inches.
